We are so grateful to have you serving with us! Here are a few things to know before you sign up:

1. When you sign up as an Adopt-A-Family Helper, you will be asked to help with a variety of tasks including: office assistance such as answering phones and entering data, sorting and organizing toys, creating and sorting ornaments, and more!
2. We will do our best to honor what you have signed up for, but things can change fast! In order to be responsive to the community we may ask that you help with another aspect of the ministry.
3. When you arrive, you will check in with one of our team members. We will have you sign a liability waiver, statement of faith, and check in for your shift.

Yes! We would love to have your children serve alongside you. There are a few guidelines that we must follow in order to ensure the SERVE 6.8 stays a safe and welcoming space to everyone.

1. Any children under the age of 14 must serve alongside a parent or guardian and are only allowed to participate in approved activities. These activities include: sorting/restocking clothing or food, cleaning, packing Christmas toys, etc. Unapproved activities include: moves, construction projects, unloading trucks/pallet organization, anything with heavy lifting or machinery, etc.
2. Teens between 16 and 18 may serve without a parent, but must have a parent sign a liability waiver on their behalf beforehand.
3. If you bring your children to serve with you, they must remain by your side and not creating safety issues or interrupt ministries from being operated.
