Tier One Ministries
These are ministries that are the easiest to jump right into! There is less training required and they tend to have a smaller time commitment. If you want to jump right in and get your feet wet, these are the ministries to start in!
CLOTHING BOUTIQUE

This is shopping experience for guests where a variety of clothing from kids, adults, work attire, etc. is available for purchase or in exchange for volunteer hours. Help guests shop, organize the space, sort incoming donations, etc.

PROJECTS

Projects vary in type and timing based upon need. Common projects we do are assisting those connected to our churches in relationship with moves, ramp builds, yard work, etc. All skill levels can be on the projects team.

COOKING TEAM

This is a team of cookers who provide breakfast and lunch for our daily volunteers. They also manage cooking for our larger events.

68 CARES
Within this ministry you will sit down and talk with families in crisis. From financial to spiritual care, you will cover a variety of scenarios.

We focus on connecting guests with employment or better employment depending on their situation. This can range from resume assistance, interview prep, and more.

FOLLOW UP CALLS

A few weeks after a guest visits, we follow up with phone call to see how their situation is progressed. These calls can range greatly in intensity and may offer an opportunity to invite the guest back in.
CAR CARE

Guests are asked to bring parts (or payment to purchase parts) and this team will provide the labor free of charge.
GUEST SERVICES

This role focuses on hospitality. You are the first and last person each guest will see. In addition, you will help answer phones and enter data, but this is secondary to the hospitality role. Each of our ministries needs a guest services role so times will vary.

DISASTER RESPONSE

This team has the goal to send a small team to a disaster to train the local churches in processes and procedures to care for their community. For more localized disasters, we can facilitate team travel as well.
